Realm Significantly Strengthens Management Team
HOUSTON—February 5, 2007— Realm Business Solutions, the global leader in
software solutions for the commercial real estate industry, announced today that it has
significantly strengthened its management team with the addition of five top
executives drawn from both the commercial real estate and software industries. Bruce
Kellogg, the former president of the Appraisal Institute; Pius Leung, the former
president of CCIM; and Robert Gray, a real estate consultant formerly affiliated with
Torto Wheaton Research have each joined Realm. This team of industry leaders will
help guide the growing company as it continues its expansion into global markets.
From the software industry, seasoned veterans Doug Skogman and Paul Throldahl
will lead Realm’s development and global sales teams respectively.
Kellogg will advance Realm’s industry relations and business development
initiatives. Kellogg comes to Realm after having served as the 2005 president of the
US-based Appraisal Institute and is arguably one of the most notable figures in the US
appraisal industry today. His lengthy career has included posts at top firms such as
Cushman & Wakefield and CB Richard Ellis. Bruce has traveled the world speaking
on topics related to standards and the appraisal profession and regularly participates in
global standards organizations, including OSCRE and PISCES.

professional valuation association over the past four years, the Appraisal Institute, the

skills, and I am excited about the future as a result," says Kellogg.
Leung will head up Realm’s education division and oversee the public and
private training programs and curriculum. In 2005, Leung served as the 39th president
of the CCIM Institute and the first ever president born outside the US. He has also
served as a faculty member of the CCIM Institute, NAR CIPS Network, Institute of
Real Estate Management and the Realtors Land Institute. He is currently a visiting
professor at the School of International Economic and Trade at the University ofInternational Business and Economics in Beijing, China. He has trained real estate
professionals around the world in countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland,
Japan, Russia, Mexico, Korea and China.
Gray will guide product management for Realm’s revolutionary RealPulse.net
product, which is the commercial real estate industry’s first global data exchange.
Gray’s background includes over 15 years of consulting for some of the world’s top
real estate firms in portfolio analysis and information systems. Prior to consulting,
Gray had various senior level positions with firms such as AEW Inc., and Decisionex.
As Realm’s chief technology officer, Skogman directs all of the software
development, testing and information technology needs of the Company. His charge is
to maintain and further develop Realm’s role as a cutting-edge, next generation
technological solutions provider to the commercial real estate industry. Prior to
Realm, Doug held top development positions at companies like AspenTech, BMC
Software, Object Reservoir, Kinesix and Scientific Software-Intercomp.
Realm’s sales organization will be headed by Throldahl, a talented sales
executive with over 12 years of direct sales and management experience in the
technology industry. Throldahl has built numerous inside and enterprise sales teams
from the ground up for companies such as VoiceGenie Technology, TrailBlazer
Systems, Tidal Software and Platinum Technologies.
